Dr. Ana Meda Guardiola

Obtained her bachelor’s degree on Mathematics and a master’s degree on Mathematical Sciences on the faculty of sciences at UNAM; her doctor’s degree on Wisconsin University on Madison, United States. She has directed 18 bachelor’s thesis, three from postgraduates and has directed two certification seminars.

Her areas of general interest are probability and risk, particularly: large conditional law deviations and risk theory, where she has diverse publications on magazines such as: Stochastic Processes and their Applications, Perplexing Problems in Probability, Festschrift in Honor of Harry Kesten. Progress in Probability Series and Studia Sc. Math. Hungarica.
