Obtained his bachelor’s degree in actuary on the faculty of sciences at UNAM.
He has worked as a consultant for no less than a dozen national institutions, among them are is the Mexican Institute of Social Insurance (IMSS) and the chamber of representatives; for international organizations like the International Labor Organization and the Interamerican Social Security Conference; and for institutions of countries such as Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Costa Rica.
He has worked on the social security and pension area since 2003.
He has taught at Universidad Central de Venezuela and Universidad Externado de Colombia.
At UNAM he always teaches subjects related to social security, the certification exams that he has supervised have shone in national contests like the insurance and finance research prize and have been presented in actuarial congresses in Lyon, France and Bogota, Colombia.
