Obtained her bachelor’s degree in actuary on the faculty of sciences at UNAM.
She has worked in the insurance area as risk selector, responsible for the payment of claims, responsible for expedition areas and policy management, product development, reserve valuation, technical audits, reinsurance, among others, for life insurance and accidents and diseases.

She has occupied positions that go from actuary assistant to technical director and, for the last ten years, independent consultant.
She is currently executive director of all three of the national actuarial associations in Mexico: Colegio Nacional de Actuarios, Associación Mexicana de Actuarios and Asociación Mexicana de Actuarios Consultores.
She also works as an assignment professor in the faculty of sciences at UNAM, where she has taught Risk Theory, Actuarial Mathematics I and Actuarial Management.
