Obtained his bachelor’s degree in actuary on the faculty of sciences at UNAM, her master’s degree on mathematics with a specialization on statistics at IIMAS-UNAM and her doctorate in statistics at Bath University, United Kingdom.
She has been a teacher for 14 years, eight as a full time professor. She has participated in 51 title examinations and seven postgraduate examinations. Her main areas of interest are multivariate data analysis, unsupervised classification, Bayesian statistics and mixture models.
