Obtained her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics on the faculty of sciences at UNAM, her master’s degree in Statistics and Operations Investigation at the IMAS UNAM and her doctorate in mathematics at CINVESTAV at IPN. She was on Paris VI and the d’Evry Val d’essone University.
She is currently working on the faculty of sciences at UNAM, she is a C associate professor. She is a regular member of the Mexican Science Academy.
Her main areas of interest are: probability, stochastic processes, finance and risk. She has been published on magazines such as: International Journal of theoretical and Applied Finance, Mathematical Finance, Insurance, Mathematics and Economics, and EconomÃa Mexicana.
